“Before posting or sending anything, think: would I be happy for my parents (or my children) to see this?” – William Hanson

Etiquette is about much more than just saying “please” and “thank you” and holding your fork correctly. Etiquette is a fundamental part of treating people with respect, empathy and integrity. It is also about conducting oneself and interacting with others in a proper manner. In the same way that people will judge you in real life based on your clothes, hairstyle, or hand-shake, people can judge a lot about you by what you put on your social media profile and what you tweet about. In this digital age, social etiquette includes how you conduct yourself on social media. This course teaches children and adults the Do’s and Don’ts of social media, including telephone manners. We teach you how to portray the best version of yourself online and how to use correct and appropriate language to communicate responsibly with courtesy, integrity, kindness and self respect.
